TGP published "Historias desde el Urubamba," a collection of short stories written and illustrated by children benefited by the Educa TGP Project.
The publication was devised by the excellent results of a contest that aimed to improve reading comprehension skills in the 20 schools that are part of the Project. In this event, the children led their creativity fly writing and drawing stories that reflect the knowledge and the cultural wealth of the communities we are going through.
The most interesting aspect of this initiative is that as the book includes the popular knowledge of the area, many of them allude to the environment in which children live, showing animals and landscapes own site.
After its publication, we sent the book to our various stakeholders, as a way of showing the culture of which we are part of this last 10 years. Now, we are getting ready to introduce the children to their works along with a kit of study, all framed in the program TGP Educa.
With this publication, the company reaffirms its commitment to cultural heritage, education and community development we go through.
