The team of TGP have been working on the design and implementation of the Management System Continuity Service Transportation of Natural Gas and Natural Gas Liquids in Peru. A strategic step in prevention and planning.
Since the beginning of our operations, TGP team had to overcome several challenges to maintain continuity of Transportation System Natural Gas (NG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) in Peru.
For this reason that, from the year 2012- the company is working on implementing its System Business Continuity Management (BCMS for its acronym in English), which will allow you to enhance their capacity to respond and recover from any threat threatening the Transportation Service GN and LGN.
"This system will help us make right decisions quickly, saving time and minimizing financial losses" says Ricardo Ferreiro, general manager of TGP. "This process becomes more important if we consider that we transport the gas accounts for almost 50% of the country's energy mix," he adds.
Meanwhile, Tomás Delgado, TGP's Administration and Finance Manager and sponsor of the project says: "The BCMS seeks to identify potential threats to the organization and the impact these threats could result in operational and financial areas of the business. It also provides the mechanisms for effective response in safeguarding the essential business activities and interests of our key stakeholders ".
